Sajda started Shotokan Karate with Sensei Hamid at age 9. Now she’s a purple belt instructor’s assistant.

I started Karate at age 9 at Tigers Eye Karate-Do training Shotokan Karate with Sensei Hamid and Sensei Hana.

I began competitions as a Green belt which was scary at the time but I figured that the experience will help me achieve more of my goals and allow me to gain knowledge for future competitions. Tigers Eye Karate-do is a place of dedication and discipline that teaches you life long lessons which help throughout your entire life. Every step of the way came with difficulties along with achievements from belt exams to competitions as well as failing and winning. However through all of that, I was supported by my teammates, Sensei Hamid, and Sensei Hana.

Tigers Eye Karate-do is a second home; I always look forward to going to Karate every week. I have made lots of friends and who are like family to me with lots of love and support. This has built up my self-esteem, confidence and allowed me to relieve stress in a positive way.

I have achieved so much over the 6 years I have been at Tigers Eye Karate-Do. I'd like to give a huge thanks to Sensei Hamid and Sensei Hana for everything they have done, as well as
for all of the support from my friends and family from the start till this point..
